Some of the things you list as not working would/could be an easy fix that will go a long way towards getting the best sale. I.e., the insert for the hatch is ~$20, the headlights could be a fuse or relay, and the odometer gear is about $15. At a minimum, I'd get it to pass state inspection. The odometer not working may scare buyers into wondering what the actual milage may be. The things you list as "pros" are very good as that's the things most lookers (at least on my 84 I sold last month) looked at.

Yes, the small items can be fixed with time, and just a little money.

The state of California doesn't require a functioning odometer, it passes smog every year...

Nice S4, probably my next car....someday
