Default front bumper lamps uneven?

81 euro.i am currently rebuilding my car after a full respray and have noticed that the bumper reinforcer that houses the front lamps (indicator, fog, overtaking) is closer to the wing on the right side than the left side.everything fits perfectly on the front of the car and there is nothing bent.is this normal or is there some way of adjusting it?

It's possible that one of the bumper shocks has been pushed in from an impact. I'm pretty sure there is no adjustment in this area. The shocks are a one time impact design so if it has been pushed in it will need to be replaced.

many thanks i will be at the car tomorrow to see if its a depressed shock.dont all other cars with this system ie bmw, volvo ect go back to their starting point after an impact ?whats odd is the metal grille thats bolted to the reinforcer and also the lower chassis leg seem to sit naturally with no bends or twists to it!

these shocks are made to be one time use,
they may be able to be pulled back out,
BUT they will not offer any crash protection,
and thus the frame rails may get bent if new shocks/ used shocks are not used,

NOTE you can install used shocks that have not been compressed

had a look at this today, and my r/h front bumper shock seems to be creased at the reinforcer end of the shaft.maybe it was seized and it creased instead of collapsing.anyway good used one on the list for the breakers next visit.
