Roof molding

While having the front bumper painted the body shop agreed to do a few other smaller items such has headlight buckets and the roof moldings.
It appears the PO had put a roof rack or something of this nature and both are bent at the same spot. I originally thought it they would be easy to pop off.
Not so, what's the trick other than taking out the phillips screw near the hatch?
As they are aluminum I am not keen on destroying them.

I think they're stuck in place with one of those fiendish Porsche adhesives .. from posts by others, I believe the trick is to carefully work it up a bit at a time so the lifting force is just enough to break the adhesive bond without bending the thing ...
The one above my driver's door has a nice kink in it, which, like so many other things, documents the careless work of past repairs ...

also use a heat gun start at the rear,
the glue is usually along the windshield area ,
dont get impatient as these bend very easily and they are very hard to get back into shape if they have been bent
