Yesterday we went to the "Legends of The Autobahn" Very nice show in Monterey
in a beautiful location in Carmel Valley. Maybe 100 + very nice cars, BMW, Porsche and Mercedes. Only one 928 parked way back in the back of the lot like some sort of outcast black sheep. There are awards, vendors, great bars (even got a free beer) :cheers
For years I have gone to the Concorso on Friday ($125 per person) but this event is FREE! Very nice people, beautiful cars.
WHY can't we get a group of 928's together???. Even the organizers were surprised than none of came to the event. They would love to have 928's represented....Yes there were only 4 water cooled Porsches
(944's) Ok everyone, We need to get our butts in gear and bring the Shark community together. Next year, "be there or be square"
BTW, The Steve McQueen 911 sold for 1.25 million on Friday night

Van, Great to see that you attended "Legends"
Sharon Neidel our PCA zone 7 rep. owns a 968 and would love to see more front engine Porsche's participate, as would I.

We have quite a few 928's here in the Redwood Region and I was going to get a bunch of us to attend but I could not get the time off of work so I am shooting for next year.

We will be having a car corral in the paddock next Sunday 8/28 at Infineon Raceway for the I.R.L.

More pics of Monterey. I tried to sneak onto the greens at Pebble Beach thinking that it was a good place for a shark to be, but security didn't think it was such a good idea.
I have to go back to China to print another book for Volvo and maybe one for Porsche on the 28th (Sunday) but be back in time to go to Mark's in LA.
Hopefully a bunch of us can go together
