digi dash mileage display
does anybody know which terminals/pins i will need to power and earth just to get a mileage reading?
thanks in advance
Phil
Where did you get these? And why do you need 2? ;-)
I actually might need a dash with a KMH read out... for a 90.
I'm not sure if the authorities here in the EU will actually accept my current analog MPH read out...
Eventhough I can set the digital reader below to KMH...
Kind regards,
John

Concern: There are certain instances where the mileage of a particular vehicle must be known, either for various State Department of Motor Vehicles or insurance company investigations.
If a particular vehicle has been involved in an accident which prevents the vehicle’s electrical system from being activated, then the backlighted instrument cluster can be removed from the vehicle and mileage readings can be obtained through the following procedure.
Make a suitable electrical jumper, or if the wiring harness which is in the vehicle is not going to be used, the section going to the #2 connection (A in Figure 1) of the instrument cluster can be cut from the harness and used as a jumper (see Figure 7). Apply 12 volts to terminals 17, 16, 13 and 12. Apply ground to terminals 15 and 14 (see Figure 2). The total vehicle mileage and trip mileage can now be read in the display.
