I'm not sure there was an "S" in 1979. At least not in the US.
I'm an hour east of Charlotte, and this one is in NW Charlotte. And then what would I do with it?... No AC means no driving until winter, and it won't go up hills either. Grrrrr!!!

The Euro S wasn't made until 1980. Has turn signals in the fenders, so definitely a Euro. Looks like an S spoiler was added to the front but not the rear. Intakes look like the smaller diameter which would indicate the 240 hp non S Euro 4.5.
