"They are not particularly pretty, but they do light stuff up, so there's that."

Should have had the 80s Corvette lights on that list. The way they spun around from backwards to open makes them cooler than some of the lights on that list.

I had a Cougar with those cool lights. It also had sequential rear turn signals.

hadf a buddy that had one. You didn't have to do much damage to the front and those head lights were never the same.

I do have a fondness for the Opal GT lights, the roll over is nice. It would be fun to have one of those Opels in good condition. I had a 1970's Opel Rallye Sport.. fun car.

I agree. I had a 90 Vette and it had those cool headlights that spun all the way around.

The Alfa Romeo Montreal has one of the coolest semi-hidden headlight setups ever. The cars are beautiful and very much like a 928. 2+2 seating, with a front mounted V8. Sadly Alfa made only a few and they suffer from rust from the factory. One in good shape now is very costly. But they are beautiful cars with a great light treatment the eye lids pop up a few inchs to alow for an unobstructed light path

The rare and beautiful Bradley GT had a unique feature where you could actually pull a rope from inside the cockpit to raise the lights. Can you say refinement?
