Santa Barbara sharks...observation.
Doing the summer stop off in Montecito with the family- staying at a great estate. After a full week I just noticed that I haven't seen one 928 on this trip. Are they pretty rare in SB...?

Very few people drive 928s much anymore. Most spend their days resting.....It is after all a very low production model for an assembly line car. There NEVER were very many !

You have to know where they are. And I've been out of town myself until Monday, and it's been parked mostly since then. Shawn Smith and I are here, and I know of a handful of others that aren't really "joiners". I'm certain that there are a good many parked in garages that never see the light of day.
Want to have a GTG? Longboards on the wharf or Peobody's in Montecito would be a good spot.

Virtually extinct in the San Luis Obispo county area as well. There might be a sighting of a white one now and then on a Saturday or Sunday

Sounds like I need to take a road trip to SB for some wine tasting with the wife and the 928 and represent. Not too far from me anyway and a good excuse.
I am using mine more and more on my daily commute between LAX and Torrance now I have the car a bit more sorted, I think I am the only one and have got a few thumbs up and smiles from fellow drivers doing the 405 crawl.
I admit to driving my truck today and yesterday though because my gear shift **** and boot are en route to Paul in Texas, and its amazing how much noise comes up through there when you have no boot and frame on it.
