Default 88 5spd, repaired, interesting

No affiliation. Martinez Cali, wherever that is.
Looks like it might be a bodyshop-owned car. Not sure.
Damage is shown in one of the pictures, prior to repair.
Wish they'd shown a comprehensive set of repair shots.

Anyhow, just gotta love a 5 speed S4.

Ouch, I wonder what the story is behind the accident that caused that damage.

Well, since the ad description say a tree branch fell on it that is pretty acccurate.

I wish they would have at least included a nice pic of the repaired area.

Professionally repaired and the 928 decal put in the wrong spot on the rear bumper

Guards red is probably one of the best to blend for a repair because it is single stage. My biggest concern would be the crumple on the B and C pillars, probably the reason it was written off.

Nice looking car but I wanna see a picture of that tree branch. Also: "Must sacrifice at $9000 " is no sacrifice IMHO.

And on the subject of tree branches, One day, a young sapling growing next to an old oak tree leans over in the wind and asks, "Hey old man, you've been growing in this spot for a hundred years so tell me, am I a son of a Beech, or a son of a Birch?" The oak tree replied, "Kid I don't know who your daddy was, but your momma was the best piece of Ash in the whole forest!"

Have a great day everyone!

That's what I was thinking. I am not an expert on structural integrity of the 928, but that seems like it would be difficult to repair correctly.

Wonder why in the damage photo something is hanging off the rear bumper cover?

Besides 5spd also has rare 12 way seats

Could be the bumperette on the passenger side hanging down.

That last picture showing the damage spooks me. I would think that would tweak the whole top of the car. Makes me wonder what was done to repair it, cut off the top and weld in a new one, or something cheesy.

I sure would not be bidding based on cell phone picts.

That is right around the corner from me if anyone wants a PPI from this rookie.
