Mike (Killav) has made some tweaks to the Saturday tour. Lunch will be in Fredericksburg. More details later.Everyone will need to register for the tour on Saturday. All that needs to be done to register is to send an email to Laura@928srus.com and a short message that you wish to be included. If you have NOT registered with Laura you will not be included.
The briefing will be mandatory for safety sake.
Depending on the number of cars we will split into two or three groups with a designated leader. It is essential that you have hand held radios for safe communication.
The “Show & Shine” for Sunday morning is at a new venue lakeside with tons of parking.
The closer we get we will firm up on times and details.
Looking at some great giveaways/door prizes for the Sunday – you do need to be there to collect the prizes.

The tweaks are designed to get us back to the hotel a little earlier than years past in order to have a few hours of down time before dinner on Saturday. It seemed like we would lose a lot of people after the 200 mile/4:00 PM time frame anyway. We had lunch in Johnson City a few times, but this year there is another 44 mile leg before lunch that gets us to Fredericksburg. The roads seem to always be busier in the afternoon so getting this leg in before lunch should allow for more "open range".
One thing to note, is that we should try and leave the parking lot at 9:00am so that we won't be late getting into Fredericksburg for lunch. If we leave by 9am, we should get to lunch between 12:00 and 12:30 with around 30 min at the winery.

Luggage-Cart Luge
I'm might put on my Betty Crocker apron & bring the Muffins & Cookies for the late night snackage Friday night...
