Thank you for all the great ideas for a star prize.
One of the difficulties is offering a prize that will fit all of the model years of our cars.
The EIS only fits 87 to 95 cars. Tail lights are expensive for the later cars but not to bad for the early cars.
How about a $600 928sRus gift certificate so the lucky winner can buy whatever they like for their own car???
I also like the idea of a prize that entitles one owner and car plus one guest entrance to the 2012 OCIC in Wichita and the hotel room for both nights.
We will be handing out raffle tickets to all adults who attend. One raffle ticket for each day that you are attending Third Coast. So those who attend on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will receive the maximum three tickets.
Will that work?

Does it have the "Do It Yourself" manual transmission, or the superior "Fully Equipped by Porsche" Automatic Transmission?

Does anyone live close to Paul Champagne? I have a couple of seat bottoms that I need to get to him and if someone could take them the rest of the way down would be a great help. I know he is in Canada and won't be able to make it.

I may be headed through San Antonio Friday morning to meet up with the original owner of my red 89. He still has an uncracked pod in the garage that I want to talk him out of, and he really wants to see the car. Not sure of the timing though. If anyone is meeting up in SA, let me know just in case. Don't think I'll be on the deck by 4:10, but shouldn't be too long after that.
My to do list on the red car is almost complete. Got the new painted fender installed this morning and it looks awesome. Very good color match with no blending. Passenger seat replaced a couple of days ago. Brake pads installed last night (thanks Roger for the expedited shipping) and new tires on the rear yesterday. Now the car feels good on the highway at all speeds and the shakes are gone. Really the only thing not working right now is the heater, and while it is cooling off fast, not a huge deal, might look at it this week if I can find time.
