Default Baltimore Grand Prix - Porscheplatz

Second effort posting this... anyone else going? I will be there. Special Porsche only parking (requires special ticket to get in) in the Porscheplatz. Races are Sept 2-4; I'll be there 9/2 and 9/3.

Tickets are in hand for those who ordered in advance, so there will likely be some available on Craigslist. Not sure about Porsche-Only Parking tickets, though. They are pretty cool looking tickets, too.

I now have an extra ticket for Friday (without parking). Willing to part with it at cost. I had to buy a combo Friday-Saturday ticket, so I'd need the ticket back at the end of the day Friday. The combo was $110, so call it $55 for the single.

I'll be there all 3 days.

There may be a deal for volunteers. Email the PCA Zone 2 rep and he can tell you.

I'll be most likely coming, but not in 928 - thinking of going with a couple of friends and I refuse to drive more then 1 extra person in 928...

I'm going all three days. I'm in grandstand 16 with pit passes for all three days. Didn't know about the PCA tent. I'll be visiting it for sure. Pray for cool weather!

I am coming but likely not in the 9. I have some heat related starting issues I would like to fix before another long trip. Only about 2+ hours away but it should be fun! I will definitely look for the PorschePlatz and wear some "team" colors Ha.

I will be there Sat and Sun with my friend from work. Next race will be F1 in Austin next year.

I am going for the whole weekend and taking part in the Platz events.
My tickets have arrived, but does anyone have more specific instructions regarding directions to the Platz, and the hours of operation for the Welcome Tent, the Parade Lap, etc?

This is the link to the ALMS detailed weekend calendar.

I'm trying to swing a business trip the week before or week after such that I can attend... I won't have my 928, but I'll certainly swing by any Porsche event if present.

I think the Platz parking instructions are on the back Platz tickets. Hours info I think is on the Potomac PCA website.

I plan on going. Would like to stop by and see some 928's. Where will the Platz be located?

The back of the ticket shows the car corrals off of Hamburg Street (east of Russell St.), and adjacent to the ALMS Paddock (very cool). It is an area between Oriole's Park at Camden Yards and the Football Stadium.
The ticket has the entrance at that location noted as Gate "D", but event map has that same location labeled as Gate "F".

This is a link to general parking (non-Platz). http://www.baltimorefestivalofspeed....arking_map.pdf
