Default Illuminated Manual Shift ****

I just picked up another 944 and I was surfing ****/boot replacements and came across this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...ht_4372wt_1169. I contacted them about possible options for 928's. Does anything like this already exist? A bit unnecessary, but I like it nevertheless.

My first thought was, if you can't find you're stick in the dark...

But after I looked at the actual product I want one in blue, just another circuit to add

Would add a little to the airplane cockpit look.....but lighted inside door handles might be more useful

Jadz928 (Jim Doerr) has made one of these. I have one and really like it. I'd like the shifter to be a little bigger, like the GTS, but it's very well done.

He may be the one the Paul is making the covers for..

That's me! Can't wait to see what Paul comes up with!

Mine's a little different than the one on the ebay ad. A little more GTS-like in shape, but slightly narrower.

Michael,
Feel free me PM or email me for more details. Thanks!

I'd be interested in one in either white or red back lighting. My delrin one just isn't what I really expected out of it...

Personally I would buy the 6sp ****. Lot cheaper than trying to add another gear

EDIT: LED colors are listed, doesnt look like includes plastic surround though couldnt ascertain if other options available for leather color

Anyone know if it is for:

1. just the ****

or

2. the **** and the boot

or

3. ****, boot and plastic surround the boot attaches to at the bottom?

Also, color or lighting available?
If includes the boot, leather colors available?

Best I can tell from the 944/968 ad language is that you get the boot and the ****. I think the frame is in the photos to show fitment. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ht_4372wt_1169

I have a cool illuminated shift **** off a Nicaraguan bus that I traded a shirt for back in the early 90's. I installed it in several trucks I have owned. I always had a problem with wire fatigue from the constant movement, even when leaving a large loop of extra material.

Cool, but make it so it is blue lighting but shows the specific gear you are in with red...
