Don't confuse yourself with Willhoit. As an established dealer with a long history of selling exceptional cars (and the resulting clientele list), he can get far more than you or I could. BTW., even he is only asking $39K for the '95 that is the original subject of this thread...

You seem to have confused yourself with someone who has a valued and respected opinion on GTS prices.

Why do guys like you strive to undermine the value of our cars?

I know, I'm not "in the know", blah, blah, blah.

You finally figured us out, there is an evil conspiracy to ruin the value of your cars so that we can steal them out from under you.

That's great, all well preserved 928's deserve more respect and along with that the pricing that go to other models and makes from the period. The 6,000 mile black/black 85/86 from philly should not be laughed at for asking near 30K. These are the best looking, most enjoyable cars to drive/own that I know of.

Default 87 928S4 3k mi

BTW we have a "BRAND NEW" 3k mile "CONCOUR" 87 928 S4 on the way in,so when it sells for "SPACE SHIP"money, perhaps it will help the rest of the 928 market as well !!!!!!!

I agree, too bad that didn't get into hands of turboboost and end-up with a Fortune 100 exec buyer. Instead it entered the shady world of car lots.

Wow! I'll be looking forward to pics. It will be very interesting to see what an ultra low mile '87 will sell for. On this, I wouldn't even speculate.

Uhhhhh......

Hard to say, really. Will depend on how well you prep it, and prepare a low mile car for its next owner. It's not like you can pull it out of the barn, and throw it up for sale the next day. So, make it happen. And do it right!

It's hard to argue with someone who can get six figures for a GTS.

It's not too high. I had nice '87 with Pearlglanz left here two weeks ago for it's new home. Had 30k on the clock and went for $25,000. There are buyers out there, and you know you will get that.

Sean,
You may want to check your sources on that....

And the Pearl car was reasonably well prepared for sale.

Who do you think did the work on the car?

I'm not following.

My understanding was it sold for lower than $25K.

My understanding was the seller, Rob, used his own shop source for the brunt of the service work (TB/WP, etc.) Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Also, my understanding is the new owner had the AC serviced by a reputable source near PA.

Sold to a nice wife and hubby from your area. Trucked over here for a bit of prep and work.

It's dang near perfect

Has to be in the top 1% of cars I've seen.

So you aren't totally wrong. Just not all that right

Yes, the A/C head unit relay went out and Earl took care of it.
