Yeah, good luck with that ... maybe if Willhoit takes it in on consignment.

Gary: I didn't know your maserati has the same engine as the F430, I read somewhere that having the
4.2L engine tweaked will make the car run with the F430 & in the curves too, very well balanced car.

Gary: thanks for the info, every time I see your posts I admire your car, especially like the color, what is the weight of the M.Coupe? It looks similar in size to the 928, it is the one used italian GT car that is fairly priced in todays market, unlike all the others. I hope our 928's someday climb in value to where they should be, not just the GTS model. Bill

They don't sell in 2 weeks if you ask what they're worth. If you give them away, they sell in hours. But let the dead horse lay in peace.

And a Willhoit deal has been considered, but even his cars don't fly off the shelf, because he ask what they're worth.

Just out of curiosity, what do you think my car is worth, since you are the one that stands behind the curtain and twists the ***** on our car's values. Bare in mind you have never seen or driven my car like some here have.

Its not what its worth that's interesting.

Its the incredible obsession with it.

I had a 300ZX once. Midnight blue, polished to within an inch of its life.
One day, came downstairs, and my kids were using it for a ramp for hotwheels cars.
That was the day I realized it just didn't matter.
Went upstairs, popped a beer open, got a laundry basket with a couple towels.
Went downstairs and set it at the edge of the hood so the little cars wouldn't break on the garage floor.

If you guys care that much about value to have these types of caustic exchanges then you can't afford the car, find your special buyer like the Spyder guy did and sell it.

I'm definately not an expert with 928 prices, but I spoke to my mother, who absolutely fell in love with your car when she saw it, and said that she wouldn't hesitate to pay $60K for it if we didn't already have a GTS.

This 16Kmi 5spd from NC, also this year, went fast, apparently way undervalued ---

I agree with this 100%. I don't know why some of you are so obsessed about the hypothetical "value" of your cars. It's OK for you to go on and on about how rare, valuable, and special your cars are; but it's not okay for anyone else to give their opinion. If you actually sell the thing for your asking price (instead of just talking about it), I will happily admit I was wrong...

Willhoit proves the 'hypothetical' value of these cars several times a year.

Until you have seen a car in person or driven it, you cannot commit, with any worth, on it's value. But yes, without having first hand knowledge of a particular car, you can commit on it all day long without any worth, which is what you excel at. It's called a baseless opinion.
