Default 84 Grounding points

Does anyone know a list or detail drawings of all the ground point locations for an 84 - 928s Euro A/T transmission.

Thanks.

Yes, I think so.

Go through this thread, though it gets off on tangents. Somewhere deep in the thread are some sketches that should help, in conjunction with the various pictures that cover most of them.

I think the only ones I didn't show were in the driver's wheel well for the antilock unit.
Also under / behind the steering column (lay on back with head on brake pedal to see it)

Bat. ground strap under tool tray.
Beneath right rear quarter panel.
Right cam cover ( 2 critical ones!)
Just behind right cam gear backing plate
Front right of radiator on body
Front left of radiator on body
Left wheel well ( anti lock )
Under steering column
Block to frame ( under passenger side of engine)
Two sets of grounds on inside firewall, just above CE panel

I think that's it. Some folks have added later style coil clamp grounds and wiper motor grounds to combat radio interference.

It's worth going through the FAQ section at the start of this forum. Here's one of the posts with ground point diagrams to add to what Chris has already posted above ...... https://rennlist.com/forums/2220328-post33.html

Confusion sometimes is that one is specific for 86.5 and forward

Wish we could rebuild that thread.

There is one located in the New Visitor FAQ topic located at the top of this forum.

unfortunately, it sucks because doesn't apply to his car, or anything else prior to 86.5, Randy.

How about opening up that thread so it can be updated?

I didn't notice that ..... I agree ... there are probably a few more things that could be added and updated on that thread.
