there are detailed instructions for adding oil quantities in the WSM,
Also you didnt provide any info on what parts you have replaced,
usually the 2 lines from the compressor should be replaced before you connect the system,
these can be rebuilt at any competent hose shop

If you are converting then you should flush out each component first the put the system together with fresh green O rings.

If you try to flush the system with it all connected then the O rings will be damaged from the flushing fluid sitting on every joint

Quick answer is to drain the compressor and put that much OR a minimum amount. The amount varies with the type of compressor.

You also must change the receiver/dryer and add oil to the new one. Good practice calls for changing the old brittle O-rings to the new green or blue ones.

The only oil that you can use is POE.

Is advanced search available for non paying membership? One of the other threads said it was not...and even advanced search does not make it easy to find stuff unless you already have a good idea of the several names something may be listed under, or the various abbreviations we use like MM and TBF and TBWP...and yes, all those things are covered to some extent in the "read this before posting" segments....I went through all that last year when I first joined, and boy was I ever confused when I finished. Of course I am still confused, but that is another subject...
