Which tires are best- Continental DWS 225/50-16 W Rated
Dunlop SP Sport same V rated
Falken ZE-512 same V rated
the Dunlops & Falkens are about the same price $395-375, Continentals $470 per set, aside from the speed ratings, which set would be best for the money?
I have to pay another $60 locally for mounting & high speed balancing.
Don't know which is best - but I used Falken ZE-512 on several Porsche, including my 81 and 84 and a 914, and no complaints... I live in San Diego, so all weather is not an issue :-)
Thanks all, I will drive this car in the winter too, I read where the contis are best all weather, Sean, what didn't you like about the Contis?
The last two sets I had came with the cars/wheels that I purchased. They were Sport Contact II's and once they got below 1/2 wear, they would just scream bloody murder, to the point you couldn't have a conversation in the car. I've driven on BALD Pirelli/Yoko/BFG and nothing was like this. If it was only one set I'd not have worried, but two? Nope, won't buy any, ever.
