Default Part number trans overflow hose

Does anybody have a part number for this overflow hose? At the local Porsche dealer they couldn't find the part (neither can I in PET).

what is wrong with the one you have?
if you examine the end you will see that the hose is very thick walled ,
IIRC it is a 3mm opening
if its leaking on one end try swapping the ends around and trimming off about 2mm from the end that fits the tank so it will have a fresh seating area,
caution it is very easy to snap off the tank vent so be very careful removing the hose

Am I missing that hose?

Is a missing/broken hose the cause for trans fluid on the floor when the car has been parked for several days?

The inside of the hose on the filler tank side is hard and brittle. I took off a few mm and reseated it, and I didn't have a leak for three months. Now it started again. The hose is stretched as it is, I won't be able to take off more. Since I did a trans oil change at the same time, I don't want to have to do that again. So I'm looking for a fas swap of the hose, without loosing too much oil.

Alternatively I could look for a hose with similar dimensions, but I don't have the dimensions....

Randy, if your hose would be missing, it would leak a lot (now that sounds weird )

I've been looking around, but in Germany no shop will sell me anything when they don't know the specs. But then Roger came up with a brilliant suggestion: PET MY 87-82 does have an overflow hose listed. For those looking later in this thread, the partnr. is 922.321.539.00. Might want to get two clamps at the same time (later models don't have clamps from factory): 999.512.082.02.

I would not put clamps on this hose as it will possibly damage the tank spout IE deform it from being clamped,

the original hose has very thick walls and if you get some of this hose the friction of the hose will hold it securely in place
