Unused pod switch
When pulling the pod yesterday I noticed a pushbutton on the lower L side, same as the intensive washer switch on the R. My owner's manual has no mention of it.
What did this become on later cars?

^No^ That is opposite the ignition switch.
As it is spring-loaded, I am thinking it was for an optional ejector seat. Not used, because I have no sunroof.
