If you have the pads out you can grind a 45 degree angle on the leading edge of the pad (disc sander works well). That helps eliminate the chalk on the blackboard vibration of the 90 degree leading edge. Some cars the pads have a long shallow angle . Just knock off part of that corner maybe down 1/2 the pad thickness...
And yes racing pads like Porterfields squeel like crazy...I love them
