The AC worked great I let it run at a 80 degree setting over night and it was very nice this morning. I dropped the setting to 75 and it got real nice. I am using a 8,000 BTU in a 24' x 24' uninsulated garage. Although the heat today was not what was forecasted I am very happy I got the AC. When I insulate I think I will build the unit into the back wall of the garage. I have a bit of a benefit due to the garage being on the north side of the house.
I am very pleased with the AC today!
I was able to install my designed torque tube bearing carriers and the drive shaft today. tommorow the tranny should go back up and then my designed 5 speed short shifter with no front linkage will go up.

My AC in the garage is up on the wall and also has an electronic filtration to help clean the air
Pump/compressor is out side and about a 1/4 the size of the house unit.
It gets to cold in there if I forget it on.

So here's what I did based on the dryer vent suggestion:
Very clean. Now just have to run the water line along the wall with pvc and I am done. Perhaps think about getting a larger unit. This one is 9000 BTU and is a little small for the garage. Better than nothing though.
Now, if i can just get the idea through my wife's head not to leave the garage doors open......

Need some advice. I live in So. Cal 1 mile from ocean. Temps don't get that high but the humidity in my garage is up to mid to high 60s and other is 55.
Should I go for dehumidifier or AC unit? Some say temp will go up with just a dehumidifier.
