Default oil drian plug replaced with pipe bolt!

I am changing the oil on the 80 euro and took a closer look and found PO had welded a female tap on it probably due to cracking the pan.
I was looking to attach a socket and observed all the head was rounded and was made of brass.
The interesting part is it just unscrewed with my fingers.

Looking at some options:
Replace bolt with Rtv
Replace with Npt thread bolt to add washer if I can find one.
Pray.

My concern is with different materials is brass and aluminum will it loosen up over time. This car has 35-miles since the last oil change and the oil is way to thin, I was adding mobile-1 15-50 to bring up the pressure from 1-Bar when really hot!

Suggestions?

Can't tell from your description what you have...
Standard coarse thread hole?
Tapered pipe thread hole?

Wow is right, I am restoring this car for an acquaintance he bought it after 10-years sitting and less then 50-miles since it started running again. I can see the thread driving along lost all oil pressure, I just replaced the Dash Mylar good thing at least the lamps will come on!
I think the best approach is Black Rtv the bolt or plug does bottom out so it can be tightened. And no I am not going to replace the pan!! You should see the other stuff I found so called repaired by P.O. funny it only has 36K on it interior is like new.

NPT (National Pipe Thread) is tapered.

It would not be practical to install a bolt-type plug, as it would be virtually impossible to get the threads tight at exactly the same time that the flat sealing surfaces mated.

You can buy a new brass plug at a hardware store, home center or plumbing supply.

I think we have a different idea on what "Restore" means.

Well Restore means reliable and daily drivable in my book!

You may have another definition but if everything works I mean everything what would you call it?
A full restore in some circles means like new or better, and who would do that to a 80 Euro non S?
So I guess as a purest you may cringe at the thought of not replacing the pan, it's not my car and not my wallet!

I would call it a lot of things, but restore is not one of them.

Vehicle restoration, the process of returning a vehicle to a like-new state.

That is far from that.
