Default ignition key cylinder problem

I used a small punch to push my pin down into the cylinder, thinking I can remove it after the cylinder comes out. The cylinder is not coming out of the housing. Is there anything else I need to disconnect ?

I got it, The pin did not go down far enough, i had to grind off the top of the pin to get the cylinder to slide out.

Right you needed to pull the pin out.....kind of like getting a splinter out of your finger. Driving it in does not work well at all.
