hi friends.
I have located the problem of my oil sender. The wires that go inside the conector are bad but just in the border of the rubber. Somebody has repared these wires?. It is possible to dissasemble the conector to repair the wires?.
My sender has three wires.
Thank you

If your car is a later 89+ the connector is part of the wiring harness.
One of my wires broke right where it enters the rubber. I cut away the rubber to expose enough wire to splice/crimp a new wire onto it. Wrapped it in insulation tape and it has been good ever since - 8 years now.

Does it have the "Do It Yourself" manual transmission, or the superior "Fully Equipped by Porsche" Automatic Transmission?

Hi Rog, thanks for your replay.
My wires are in contact inside the connector, I think. I will do what you had. Cut the rubber and insulate the wires. Two of the wires stay in contact and the red warning ligt of "oil pressure insufficient" appears. I move a little the wires just in the rubber and the message dissapears.
Thnks again
