89 s4 5 speed shift 2,4 problem
Hi
I just fnished my89 s4 auto to 5 speed covert (use G28.10 trans). Some time I have problem when shift 2 or 4, it will make a big click sound (k-la k-la sound). Where should I check first?
Hope you guys input.

Seems like a linkage adjustment might be where to start. Going into 2 and 4 is the same movement of the shifter.

Thanks for your input.
I have try linkage adjustment yesterday, but still have same problem sometime, especially when 3000~4000 RPM, I shift 3~2 or 3~4.
Where should I check next?
I just change new master clutch and new slave clutch, almost re-new all the clutch parts.
Need you guys input!!
