Default Anyone know where I can get a good alignment in or near Colorado Springs?

I just went to Jack's Alignment, who has a good reputation and who has done good work for me in the past. They did the alignment on the S4 last year, and did a good job. Today, though, it was the owner that was doing the work.

The main issues were

1) He couldn't attach the Hunter jigs to the stock GTS wheels without scratching them - because of the rim guard edge on the tires. Some of my wheels are already scratched and some are perfect... I'd rather not cause more damage, and I was surprised they didn't have any padded tips for the jigs, but we shelved that issue until after he'd looked at the condition of things underneath.

2) Then he immediately jacked up one side on the front. We got into a discussion about how 928's can't be jacked up before an alignment, that they didn't jack up the S4 when they aligned it, him saying I wasn't watching well enough, and me being told to take my car and have a nice day.

At least I didn't have to wait long before wasting my time.

When I spoke with one of the guys at Motorsport in SLC, then mentioned that they had a customer that was driving in from Denver to have them do an alignment because he couldn't get it done right in Colorado...

Paul,

Sorry to hear the alignment didn't work out. Shoulda come on the drive to Steamboat! I've actually had good results at Brakes Plus here in Highlands Ranch. I always talk with them first and then watch them do the alignment but they've been real good about not lifting. I imagine results will vary from store to store.
