Thank you darling

Since I thought you were going to pick up your freshly detailed car last night, I made you a fresh batch of scones & creme to go along with it. Since Sean decided to screw that whole plan up, they are now rather hockey puck-ish Not wanting to disappoint you, I furiously threw a fresh batch together this morning (possibly a little too furiously) ...and it appears as though they have flopped. So, the question is - hockey pucks, flat scones, or I will make you a fresh batch later today to go with your afternoon tea and deliver them to you myself

Oh and since this thread is technically about Sean I have some things I could add. Well, I'll just add the nice things

He's more than willing to help anyone with their car, anytime. He will stop whatever he is doing to take phones calls and spend as much time as he can giving tech advice. I've seen him take cars in when he's solidly booked just to try and get somebody back on the road or get their air-conditioning running again. Weekends, evenings, whenever, he will help whoever he can. He has even left family gatherings to 'rescue' broken down cars.

I think it's pretty evident that he loves these cars and he loves what he does, thank you all for the kind words. He certainly deserves them

Angelan: Gotta say too, it was great your opening up your home to me yesterday while I waited for my ride after leaving my S4 in Seah's hands. VERY much enjoyed the coffee and the visit!

BTW.. since you seem to good at scones, how about some palmiers next time? <VBG>

Palmiers! Absolutely!!! I LOVE those things, haven't made them in forever! You're talking about the basic cinnamon palmiers, right?

I enjoyed our visit yesterday too, hopefully next time I can be a little more prepared and offer better hospitality (like not in my lounging clothes with wet hair and no makeup and an incredibly messy house! YIKES! ) including palmiers!

How about this - I'll make up a batch and have them ready when you come to pick up your car?

THAT WOULD BE AWESOME! The only place I know of locally which has "decent" ones is La Madeline!

I've never had La Madeline's, so I hope mine are up to your standards! I'll check with your mechanic to see when your car will be finished

Sean is The Man & I had to call & tell him. He told me how to get my 5Sp TT out w/o removing the clutch. Just a matter of where to go to get the proper tool (close & cheap)

No worries, he can still get out from under a 928, and so far is cell service is not affected.

All joking aside, Sean is a great 928'r and we are lucky to have him here in the DFW area.
HEY! No more calls to Sean interruptin' him 'n such while he is working on mine.. Not under but on the top !
