Funny stuff. I've seen 928s listed as AWD before, but usually it looks like a listing mistake or someone at a dealer who has no clue. I've never seen an owner explicitly claim AWD.

It's amazing how many people think that the S4 on the back of our cars indicates that it is a 4wd car.

By the way-you can't argue with this dude--he's had the car for 3 months. He obviously knows what he is talking about.

Looks like the AWD thing has been corrected.

For the S4 part, with Porsche doing their C2 / C4 thing not much later, I can see why people would get confused. In fact, it's usually the guys that know a decent amount about 911's that think an S4 is AWD.

I e-mailed the seller on fleabay to let him know about the AWD error. I also asked him if the 30K service included TB, WP, endplay measurement, etc. So far, no response. T

I saw this same add. Assumming it is as represented sans the 4 wheel drive option,

Well, something went wrong w/car or finances if he is selling it after only 3 months w/lien. If somebody is a gambler they should get it checked and watch this one.
