Can't comment on seafoam specifically, a lot of people advocate for techron and chemtool. It's a double edged sword- seems to yield good results dissolving plaques but if there is precipitant in the system in the tank it dislodge that and cause new problems...In addition, despite that all these products claim to be safe- the CIS system has a number of o-rings in the fuel stream and some folks that work on the FDs claim that the o-rings get swollen and/or distorted by some of the additives. Sure wish some chemist-type would provide some insight on the problem substances....whether it is substance most likely to be found in the fuel system cleaners, the stabilizers for winter storage, etc.

Well the anti siphon valve and accumulator are in hot pressure leak down is now correct. I did add the injector cleaner and with about 30-Miles of driving it gets better and better.

Where did you end up finding the check valve, at the fuel pump?

Did you put in both at the same time, or were you able to determine which one was the problem?

The price of the check valve vs the fuel accumulator you know!

I had to work with what I had an newer style fuel pump, the original connection uses a bolt with holes for the banjo fitting. I used a nut from a fuel rail added the valve but the car still had issues upon a hot start. I then replaced the accumulator valve once off it was very rusty inside so now it seems to be working as designed.
