Frame Damage Thread
OK here is your chance to post pictures of any type of frame damage you have,
or have seen on a 928.
I have seen more than few frame rails split or cracked in between the lower control arm bolting points, this seems to start from internal frame rail corrosion then finally a split
Also crushed support memebers under the driver and passenger foot wells.
Dont forget to examine the bumper shock mounting points if the shocks are collapsed then you want to inspect the surrounding area as it may have accordioned.
I dont have any pictures to post yet

I knew I should have been taking pictures all along. I bet James and Mark A would win in this one.

I didn't get to see the posts last night. Were gone by the time I read the thread.

I wish I had saved them. Had no idea he's delete them and then close the thread. Would you mind sending them to me at Sean @ 928docs dot com?
I usually save any pics that look interesting, and those sure were.

yep...seen worse...and I've seen a lot... Wouldn't deter me from picking up a 928 any more than fender or door dents..now collapsed bumper shocks...that would concern me..

If it were my car I would have them replaced, I fear in a frontal collision that the car might buckle up right where the damage is, which is right under the driver seat.

Here's the ones I've got here now. Passenger side on all, drivers side are all the same.
