Default Hydro'd block

if the top 1/4 inch of a cylinder is ballooned out .006 , do you guys think thats to much?

I am with the do not use that block crowd.

block was checked, not cracked, but still bigger at the top. ah well. 1 good crank, and 7 rods and 8 pistons... yay!

For what it cost to build a 928 engine right, not a chance in hell I would use that block.

Ive seen his block first hand. I would not hesitate at all to use that block. As long as it checked ok for cracks. Have it bored to use the set of 100mm pistons you have and make a nice hybrid. The guys that did the crank for you (Edwards) bored my brothers 4.7 block 15 yeas ago they do good work. They can also flycut your pistons. The .006 is minor and after boring the cylinders should all be symmetrical anyways.
