Welcome, Cliff.

As a temporary or permanent measure, you can use a 21" or 22' belt on your fan, bypassing the seized air pump. Loosen the bolts holding the fan, install the belt, and tighten the bolts. I gave two different sizes because there are different fan pulleys available on the 928, with no easy way to tell which belt will fit best. The easiest way is to buy one of each size, keep them clean, and return the one that doesn't work.

You can refill the fan clutch with silicone fluid, usually available at a good hobby shop for use on RC cars - you need the thickest available. One version of the refill instructions are here: http://www.nichols.nu/tip482.htm

Go up in the Nichols web site and do some reading just for general info.

Let us know if we can help.
