Noticed the front of my '78 power steering pump is damp with fluid--not a bad leak yet. I have on the shelf some Napa and some other power steering fluid one of which supposedly also helps with seeps/leaks. Is this type stuff compatible with 928 power steering fluid/system? Any recommendations greatly appreciated.

My car is an 83 so not sure if it's the same pump but i tried the sealer and it made things much worse. the fluid is the same atf you would put in an auto tranny. You can get a pump reseal kit from one of the vendors and redo your pump. It is very easy to do. I did mine it's working very well!

DO NOT USE IT.
It is made for systems that have power steering fluid, our cars use ATF.
Call Roger on Tuesday and order a power steering rebuild kit, it's easy to do.
