Exclamation Central Indicator 928 641 609 15 FAIL w/ Wiring Questions

Found this when removing mine (GENTLY ALSO).

I urgently need another one. The printed circuit on the back is also broken off onto the board. There is ZERO power going to anything on it.

NEVERMIND - I got one.

Mad after pulling the old one out. My previous alarm installer has some SERIOUS EXPLAINING to do.

I have a wire splice that I am trying to figure out. It's not on my wiring diagrams. It appears to be spliced off of what looks like the power source for the central locking button on the console indicator. There is red tape wrapped around it merging with one of the 4 wires on the central locking harness (factory wiring colors for central locking harness are black, gray, red, green). This wire color is gray (maybe a really dirty white) with a brown stripe (could be orange). Have a look at the attachments below. Does anyone have a similar setup when they accessed their console wiring? For the record, these power locks have not ever worked since the SOBs installed an aftermarket alarm in my car.
