Default Instrument Panel all lights come on

The lights come on while driving, Looks just as when the key is turned on.
Sometime they go off, but usually have to stop car and restart, The only thing I see different is the battery needle goes jittery. The car is 1983, just replaced the Fuel relay, it was shutting off and hard to start but that all changed when the relay was changed.

Low voiltage condition...OR, the connectors on the Warning Lamp Control module UNDER the "Foot rest" have started to come unplugged..pretty common.

Or the Warning Lamp Control module is going bad. I had the same symptoms and replacing that module fixed the problem. A few here suggested it was the ignition switch(electrical section) but replacing that made no difference.

Hi Mike,

I was trying to go easy on him...afraid he might look up the new retail on the module and pass out. :-)

But, I am pretty sure I have some good used ones, if not I am sure one of the other guys do.

Cheers,
