Fuel Pump MY 78
Hi Folks
I want to replace, or at least have in stck, both fuel pumps for my 928 MY 78.
I see the pump belo at Ebay:

Can someone tell me what pump is this ? Fits pass hear fender or fuel tank ?

The pictured pump fits on the tank strap below the tank on my 79. Other pump is internal to the tank if installed. Fuel filter is in the front side of passenger rear fender.

The pump in the ebay ad looks sort of like what the pump should be - probably an aftermarket alternative. Be careful and ensure it will do the job.
Seems very cheap to me.
The pump mounted on the back of the tank is 911 608 102 00.
Fender mounted would be 930 608 113 00.
Internal pump is 928 608 013 00

Just dealt with this on my 79 OB, pump on eBay is aftermarket, it will attach to the tank outlet fuel line. You may or may not have the internal pump and a second fuel filter near the external pump. What you have attached to the filter in the rear fender is a fuel pressure accumulator. My PO removed the internal pump and installed the fuel strainer...you can tell if you have 4 wires at the external pump (2 per post) if it had the internal pump.
