Default Looking for current owners of these 928s.....

Hi Guys,

Doing tons of cleanup and reorganizing here (way, way overdue) and have found all sorts of neat "928 stuff" I forgot I even had.

Some of the things I have found are various Owners Manuals and Warranty Manuals that have the original Build Stickers with the VIN# AND the Option Codes on them (very handy for Euro owners). These stickers are the same as ther ones sometimes found in the hatch floor.

If I can locate the current owners I wanted to give these items to them for a reunion..lol

84 928 S Euro Owners Manual (all text in German) - last 4 digits of VIN are "1588"

84 928 S Warranty and Maintenance Manual - last 4 digits of VIN are "2568"

84 928 S Warranty and Maintenance Manual - last 4 digits of VIN is "2226"

87 928 S4 Warranty and Maintenance Manual - last 4 digits of VIN is "0595"

Also, if there is a current owner of one of the 82 Anniversary Edition 928 *50 Years of Porsche Design" (option Code M406) on Rennlist. Especially one that wants to keep it original or restore it to original...I have something special for you too.

Please send me a PM if you are one of the owners listed above so I can get your contact info, or you can pick them up at SITM.

For those coming to Sharks in the Mountains I am going to be getting rid of some multiples of some of the Factory Literature..Some are giveways, some will be the Charity Auction at the Sat Nite Dinner, and some sold cheaply at our 928 Parts Sale on Sunday.

I have a handful of the 89 928GT Service Information Technik booklets, Brand New! Show me your 89GT at SITM and I will give you one Free, first come first serve.

Also have a few of the same for the 94 GTS ...same deal as above...but it may cost you a quick ride :-)

As I find more items like this I will add them to this Thread.

Cheers,

James,

If I were a rich man.. I would hire a couple of transporters (that you would approve of) to bring your whole collection to SITM one year.

Hey, a fellar can dream right??

Yes, major House cleaning...I even emptied the ashtray in my office!

Way beyond tired of feeling like I am on the set of Sanford and Sons... I need to simplify things around here and in my life. OH, be sure and pack light for SITM, I am planning to send you back loaded with stuff, if at all possible..

Thanks, it actually feels good to post and talk about 928s again..especially feeling I can do it with some sort of "intelligence". I still have to go and double check myself on even some of the simple things I should know, as I don't quite trust my mental faculties completely..yet. Hard to explain without experiencing it, but you guys here are helping more than you know. THANKS!

Now which end is the motor at again???

See ya soon,

Dave, I would LOVE that! Man, I think it would take more than one transporter too or we would have to leave some of the babies behind!

Miss you and Jeannie! Hope to see you again sooner rather than later!

James, you just need to come out here one year and we'll trek out there in my car if you can't bring one of your own. I can't go this year either!
