I had this exact problem with mine, they replaced the knock sensors and hall sender and it seems to have fixed it, will update tomorrow, I haven't taken it out properly yet.

Harvey,

There will be plenty of people at SITM that are not only friendly, but very helpful....and the only "attitude" you will find there...will be an "attitude of camaraderie" :-) OH, but being a new owner I warn you, there are a few pranksters, but it is always all in fun!

If there is anything you need on the way up or while you are here just let me know.

See ya soon,

Wow, you get busy and don't check the list for a week, and then come back to Sean and his apparent "small tool syndrome". WTF did I do to you?!?!?! If you would like to talk to me in a civil manner about any past work that I may or may not have done to the car, PM me, and I will be glad to help you figure it out. Not sure if it is still with the car, but I kept a detailed logbook and documented ALL work on the car for the 7 years that I owned it.

I think it's interesting that you flame me with a general statement about what I did to the car. A car that I haven't owned in 5 years and has gone through at least 2 owners. I may be guilty of performing mods that the purists don't like, and I will certainly admit to that, but when it came to mechanical functioning items, I performed the work by the book. The car was an extremely reliable daily driver for the 7 years that owned it.

Now, back to the ORIGINAL SUBJECT, thanks DR, Bill Ball, and others. I will take a look at the areas that you mentioned and see what I find. I really appreciate the CONSTRUCTIVE COMMENTS from you gentlemen.
