Default $5000 GTS on CL

Doesn't appear to be a scam, but appears to be pretty rough

Glad they didn't have a picture on the listing, I had just ate breakfast and would've hated to lose it.

It sounds like a steal. Even if it needs a ton of work.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true. I can't find any way to make contact with the seller to find out more information about it.

Have to see it to believe it.
If it is true, how could someone let that happen to a car like that?
Would love to have a word or two with the current owner. That is blashphemy

Nothing to see here folks....move along... :-)

Seriously, already talked to the guy, going down tomorrow to look at and/or it get it. He gave me his word I had first dibs, we shall see.

BTW, most likely it is a parts/track car at best, it is wrecked, no title, interior open to elements long term, etc. etc. If I think it can be saved I will certainly do my best to bring it back (if I get it), but from his honest description (his quote was "completely trashed") and answers to my questions over the phone...that seems unlikely. I am expecting the worst, but ya never know.

Should have pics later today.

It would be very hard to talk to real owner...according to guy who bought it from his widow (pretty sure it is a salvage yard or similar), the Owner was murdered.

Oh, Funny but sad part...I asked what color it was out of curiousity...he couldn't tell me for sure. Said it sat for a while (years?) outside near a spray booth and was covered with various colors of overspray....GRRRRRRR.

URGENT

OK, before I make this next post... I would encourage those who worship the 928 GTS.. to look away, shield their eyes...or at a minimum make sure you are sitting down... popping a couple of Valiums might also be recommened..or at least a couple of shots of something STRONG.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED...THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO LOOK AWAY !!!

I did, three or four times. I keep getting some kind of error. In the error message it says something about the seller being a 501 C non profit and about a raffle for $10.

Even in my most healthy days, I don't think even I could have brought this back to be even a decent looking 95 GTS. :-)

The guy told me that the "GTS" had the original wheels on it still holding air, and said with his research those alone would be worth $2000...he also said the various body panels were worth more than a thousand each etc etc..

I knew I was in for a laugh when I saw the first pic come in, which was to show me the original wheels on this 95 GTS...

He had already told me one quarter panel was crushed by tree incident.
I then asked if they were the "flared" rear fenders...of course he said yes...

He did say the rear bumper cover was not the "original one" and had been replaced, ...no doubt.

..and he mentioned the interior was very rough due to exposure to the elements...funny looking GTS interior.

OH, I offically retract my DIBS....it is wide open for someone else looking for a "GTS project".

HOWEVER, after the last couple of days I have had...I honestly appreciate the laugh from this situation!!

Fracking Craigslist!!!!!
