Default flat spot at 3000rpm

After the embarrassing flat washer in the wrong spot on my Bilsteins, incident .... car back on the ground and on the road to get the suspension to settle down, suddenly I have a flat spot around 3000 rpm over 3500 or so it clears out. Feels like a it loads up or the rev limiter ( don't think it has one) A bit rough at idle
at times as well. I only worked on the suspension and did a lot more cleaning on the underside but why now? I ran like a clock
before.
Any thoughts...I am going to do the "Italian tune up" which is drive it like hell for 25 miles...maybe it will clear out.

O2 sensor issue gave my 84 USA 5 speed a flat spot.

When I shifted the exhaust to the 84 USA auto, the flat spot transfered with it.

Default flatspot

Ah!
I just noticed a few drops of fuel hanging around the bottom of my tank...outside of the tank and of course it's full.
Is it possible to have a fuel pressure problem as well?

vanster, I believe the pressure is going to come on after the fuel pump, so I don't see how a leak at the tank would effect the pressure. Of course, you should still fix it.

Bob
You are absolutely correct, thank you!
After closer inspection and this is the route of the problem
It was on my list of things to do. It just made it to the top.

Cheers
