Buying my 1st 928 this week

I kinda skimmed this; so this is a given but, if the purchase is from a non hands-on person check the belt as soon as you can when you get home. I mean the passenger side cam cover off. When I first removed the cover soon after the purchase I found black rubber fuzz in the cover, the remains of rubbing belt. The belt appeared fine, but that was scary. I replaced it soon after, b/c the owner had no history of it.

Not having much luck posting pics but if you do a search you'll see the write up and a few pics. The 85 shot flickr file is also listed in the write up. If you want to see pics, search this FS: 87 928 S4 AT (Seattle area)

I personally love buying cars this way. The further away the better. One of the best ways to get to know your new toy!
When I picked up my Cayenne Turbo I spent a week driving it up the California coast before making the turn to head back to Denver.
Unfortunately my 928S4 was more of a "Midnight Run" from Iowa to Denver. There was a nostaggic reason for doing it that was on that car.
If you need anything on the way through Denver just let us know.

Just got a call from Andy, he's driving it around and seems really happy with what he is doing. Says the car looks and drives great.
