Lightbulb Photoshop wheel color help?!.....please!

My car is "Espresso Brown Metallic" and came with a set of gold BBS wheels on it.

I replaced the wheels with something a bit more modern. While the black wheels look "good". I think the car would really stand out with the original gold on brown color scheme.

Would just like to see what it might look like before taking the effort to paint them.

Here are two shots of the car with the new wheels. Thinking of doing the centers of these wheels in a soft "tan" gold, not a bright "Gold" gold.

Goal is something like this.

That gold is NOT GOOD! Ouch...Unless you are the kind of guy who is prone to wearing a colorful button up shirt mostly unbuttoned with 5 or 6 HUGE gold chains around your neck or the same chains in a white "wife beater" undershirt (and think that is actually meant to be worn alone) then don't do the gold for sure! Honestly on a car that dark, I think just all silver would be a nice plan really... YMMV!

Thanks!

A little too blingy gold and not enough tan gold but I can work with it.

Here are some shots with the original gold wheels.

Body matched spokes would be nice too...in person...does not photoshop well and probably wouldn't photograph well either, but I bet it would look very nice in person. I still think a simple silver 5 spoke wheel would look very nice, refined and understated.

Honestly, if I had the choice I would have bought the natural silver finish. Picked the wheels up for a deal second hand but brand new, stickers still on the tires new.

Just exploring options because I think the black spokes are a bit dark and don't look quite right with the Espresso metallic paint.

I updated the pictures above. Lightened the brown, and match the gold to the bbs wheels. I like the body colored center better. The gold/tan just doesn't look good with only 5 spokes.

I really appreciate the help guys.

I agree the gold with just the five spokes looks off. Would have probably looked good with a 19" BBS style.

Wonder if there is a affordable way to do the body color? Th silver, or even a light charcoal will be pretty easy to do.

With your silver RMB I think silver is FOR SURE the way to go and they could be polished or simply painted silver more easily than body color matched I suspect... BTW, are those the 5 spoke MODA's? That is what I have for my race car and I think those wheels look GREAT!

Yes, 5 spoke 19" Moda wheels.

Picked them up from another 928 owner that bought them, didn't like the black so bought a silver set. The price with tires was right and I'm willing to work on the color.

Not sure how easy these would just strip down to bare aluminum.

Sand or bead blast and paint...doubt it would be that hard for the right place...
