Default Dash Flap Question...

so i just got my AC charged, and one thing i did notice is that i dont get cold air from the door vents.... what pot changes that?

There really isn't one. You should get air thru the armrest in varying degrees (based on slider settings) at all times, unless the vent louver flap is manually shut.

hummmm. i get air, thats not a problem. its just the center is 50 degrees, but the arms seem temperate

That may be your blend air controller. I think there are two of them (one for each side?)

Are you experiencing the same thing with both L & R vents?

Vents on armrest are part of 'central' system. The comb flap will divert more to arm rests if operating correctly. Also to push more air closing center vent 1/2 will help. Not positive but I think your '82 will have the double pot to operate the vent and comb. It takes awhile but the air from door vents will eventually get cooler. Not as cold as center, but cooler. Not sure why this is but both my '86.5 and '81 are like this.
