928 Steering Rack Replacement Questions

Update : New steering rack installed easily - no leaks (so far...knock on virtual wood). My steering wheel is still at some obscene angle (it was offset 90 degrees from on center with the old rack - now it is 180 degrees (upside down- maybe I got an Australian steering wheel...)) - and since the steering shaft u-joint spline is keyed on both ends with a bolt - I will need to make the adjusments on the steering wheel... I think.
I tried my best to measure the overall length of the steering rack -complete with tie-rod ends using a jig made from 2x4s (see photo) and match the previous toe settings- and with a quick ghetto alignment check - it looks ok- at least until I can get it to an alignment shop.

Anyway - thanks to everyone for the advice - project was successful.
