Hey man, you've got my admiration. No question I would be too meek to get violent over some pee, but it just aches for some retribution! Clearly your cops show good judgment as well.

Those idiots may think twice about doing that stuff next time, which is the most important outcome.

I'm having a beer for you right now, brother!

Hey "blown87", Greg, I tried to PM you and got this message:

blown87 has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her.
What up with that? Joe and I are plotting your visit out West for Sharktoberfest with a few side trips to Phoenix, Radar Roys, Grand Canyon, Vegas, LA, Doc Brown's automotive den of inequity, etc. How can I get a hold of you?

That's odd, it's probably a full PM box.

To the OP, glad you and the wife are ok. When you're a short smart *** like me, you tend to stay away from situations like this, but would have wanted to do exactly as you did.

The problem is that alot of people see a nice looking 928 and assume that you must be wealthy. What they don't realize is that you purchased a derelict car that nobody else wanted and put in countless hours and more $$ than it's worth, to bring it up to the condition that it is currently in.

Wow, props to you for wading into that group of 7 a-holes! Probably not the smartest thing to throw down 7 to 1, but sometimes you gotta go with your heart so you can look yourself in the mirror the next day.

Here's to you!

I'm glad it worked out okay for you. IMO **** washes off a lot easier than blood. Its too easy to kill a person with your hands. One bad shot to the head and theyre done for good. Unless my life is threatened, I won't fight, because I don't want it to end with someone in a box (especially not me). I don't want to live with killing someone over some foolish reason, and I definitely don't want to leave behind the ones I love.

Respect is a fine thing, but frankly, you are going to drive away in your nice car and hose it off, and they are still going to be punk *** drug addicts. In ten years they'll be bums on the street begging for change to fix their heroin habit. In fifteen they will be dead in the gutter. Would you trade your life to shorten theirs? No way, God lays it down mighty heavy without my intervention. And if they grow up and realize they were dicks, well, maybe they will raise their kids to not be douchebags, and the world is a better place.

Never fight but for your life, and always fight to kill.

up here is the same way, they think you drive a Porsche - stuck up, rich and own the road therefore developed some kind of jealousy and hate. but then some would give you thumb up and even start a conversation so i choose to drive different car to different places just to avoid those unpleasant situation.

Considering the statement.." One guy was bragging how he pissed on a 944. ..." I fail to see the insult

Nothing as heroic as a bar fight but last night at a bar, several of us got into a "discussion" on Porsche's and I mentioned I had a 928. One of the dudes voiced his opinion that 928s weren't exactly "real" Porsche's. Rather than slug him I decided to start buying him many drinks because he also was planning a big night with his wife. I felt like crap this morning, I'm sure he was in pain and his wife was disappointed with his performance!

They may like my 928 but when I get out of it and they see me the last thing they will think is that I have money!

She is prolly pissed at YOU, because she had to service a stinking drunk.

As to the reaction...........I can only hope that at my age, I would just walk away......... I am not in the habit of doing that, but there is always a first time.

I do think of my bride when I find myself in these situations.......... My obligation to her is greater to me than my own pride.......

On the otherhand, I generally do not expose my gal to environments where azzholes abound.....

I dunno, Dan H has it right....... no doubt. Still, it can be aweful hard to go against one's DNA.
