I prolly would have done the samething as the OP. Cept I always have my 8oz. ball peen hammer with a shortened handle tucked in the back belt loops of my Levis. Any asswipe pissing on my car,bike, or anything of mine will get his head cracked, and body beat with my hammer. I would have just waded in swinging my hammer.
FWIW, it's been the personal weapon of choice for the HAMC for the past 63 years. No law aginest having a tool in your possession.

While I understand 100% what happened......it was a RISKY fight from your end.....7-1 is HORRIBLE odds.....and any asshat that pisses on someone elses car is clearly a LOSER....and clearly will fight over just about anything...including his own foolish behavior.... What would I have done....if it was my concour queen Sharky....it would have been interesting....however I still think I would have walked away...as hard as it is to say that.... its just not worth the risk......

You had no choice. It was the same as them pissing in your face. Next time you have multiples, the secret is to move in the same way as you would draw a 5 point star. (We called it the 5 star technique) That way they sort of get in each others way for the split second it takes to hit the next. if you are quick enough and your first strike is hard enough you just might live through it. Although, even Bruce Lee whould have had trouble with 7 determined fellows.
Glad it turned out ok for you.
That being said, I believe I would have tried to walk away if I had my wife with me and no gun under the seat. My wife would have divorced me for responding.
