Default 79 HVAC control vacuum line schematic?

I have a electronic copy of the WSM but it seems to be missing the HVAC section! Time to get the CD from Roger.

I have the HVAC control head out and noticed that there is an open connection on the header for the vacuum lines. I don't see a loose one floating around in the console so assume it should be blank (hope).

Anyone have a schematic for the vaccum lines that can confirm? Would like to confirm the rest of the vacuum plumbing as well.

Thanks 928nut. Looking at the photo above it appears you also have an open port on the vacuum manifold?

Yes, it appears that way. It has been a while since I worked on mine and I recall scratching my head over it as well. In the end, I think I determined it was OK though looking at the diagram gives me me a headache this early in the morning. I believe the port is blocked off internally or something like that. It cannot possibly be open, you wouldn't get any vacuum on that circuit and all my flaps work properly.

Thanks for the pics in this thread. I recently looked into what is going on with my AC and Heater and the wiring and vacuum lines have been messed with big time. The vacuum lines were all disconnected and wiring, well, lets not go there right now. This will be my next project on my 928.

Any updates here ? Freon levels are fine but the compressor is not kicking on. TIA. T
