What MAY work in a airplane is not going to do very well in a 928, and I am not sold at all on lean of peak in aircraft.

Aircraft engine do not produce 1 HP/per CID, not even close in most cases, you 928 will be close the that figure, and it is not at a steady load like a aircraft engine is.

But you can do EGT's with a LM-1 and AuxBox, or you can get the thermacouples from a 88 or later and do it that way., the holes and threads are all ready there.

In order to optimize the "Assometer" or "Buttdyno"..you'll need the "Sharttuner and the Shart Plotter"

You could get very close with a carputer and some standard stuff out there now, and am pretty sure the fuel flows will not be a issue.

S4ordie - haven't heard of spotfire, I'll have to take a look. JMP8.0 is my tool of choice and it covers pretty much everything imaginable. As long as I stay employed, I'll have access to it!

I love data, I can totally see myself characterizing my car to a ridiculous level with a carputer and data collection.
