Default Alternator Gage 82 928

Okay guys I have had this 928 for over a year. And I noticed that the alternator registers best under cool conditions but does not work when it's hot / warm outside.

check the archives, this appears to be a common condition..is all the hose venting on the alternator?

Normal. The alternator output is derated as temps go up.
